Story of Maruko
Reunion after 2 years
I returned home for the first time in two years after leaving Japan.
My father and Maruko were at the airport!
No way, don't be shy!
When he sees me, he runs to me happily.
Tails wagging wildly from side to side.
He jumps.
He hugs me.
I thought that would happen....
In fact, Maruko's reaction was extremely calm!
I would say it was a "salty" response,
as if he's thinking "I've seen you before, but I don't remember your name.
I don't remember your name!" (LOL)
Trip to Wakayama
Now, to get back on track, I went to Wakayama, where my relatives live!
My mother drove the car all the way to Wakayama.
I was sitting in the passenger seat, and of course Maruko was on my lap!
After being treated with stranger-mode at the airport, I had cared for her for a week, I was already back to being a good friend! (lol)
